Are The Royal Family Racists – I doubt it……

Another little racism story doing the rounds in the media circus, so I thought it was worth putting my two pennyworth in the ring….

The story identifies how extreme the views become in social media once you have stated where you sit on this issue and you are suddenly so entrenched in your position, rather than considering  everyone and everything.

Question:-

Are the Royal Family Racists,

Answer:-

I doubt it but there are likely to be racists within the Royal Household. KC111 and PW are definitely not racists, so media, don’t try to make out they and their immediate family are.

Question:-

Is Lady Susan Hussey a Racists or a doddery 83 year old that should know better and should we all help her to understand the impact of her negative views on society.

Answer:-

Probably Yes to all parts of the question.

Question:-

Did Ms Fulani deserve to be treated as she was, and did she receive other similar treatment by Royals staff.

Answer:-

No, but has she clarified if this was a one off incident, which I suspect it was, as she hasn’t said anything about all the other people who attended the event. Or is this something far more serious and worthy of further review, which I also very much doubt, but not what the media want us to consider.

We all have experience’s that have moulded us and established our tolerances to issues and people of all races and cultures as I alluded to in the blog:-

“Rules are for Fools” – Part 1 – Re-set Your Moral Compass

As usual I like to relate an issue to events in my life, my dad, who would have been 101 this year but passed some 31 years ago, hated the Japanese and I use the word advisedly with all its meaning it entails, so was he a racist, yes in strict terms on this item yes, but why.

Having been a POW for 3 years in WW2 and having been starved, beaten, and tortured and also seen his friends and comrades treated the same and also killed by brutal Japanese soldiers, it was not for me to question his view of the Japs, especially as he returned to England in 1945 weighing 7 stone, this a man normally weighing 13 stone.

He did however bring me up to respect all people and races and I have no axe to grind with the Japanese, I accept them as every race for who and what they are, but he still hated them up until he died, and I fully understand why.

If you experience life you are shaped by those experiences, was my Dad a Racist, I have to say no, he was a very tolerant person, but to those brutal people that changed my father’s life and others that he saw for what they were or are, he was a complete racist and I can’t find it in me to condemn him.

Back to now, should we call out racism, of course, always, but should we consider the circumstances around the act of racism, yes and we should seek to be tolerant and understand the reason for the act of racism that occurs.

Blatant Racists are clear to all and sundry, however racists, with a small r, are more difficult to recognise and need to be considered in the terms of their actions, as they unfortunately undermine the essence of Human Morals, but sometimes understandably.

I’ll keep it short, how could anybody call the British royal family racists? Let’s be fair, these selfless people charitably moved to the UK from mainly Germany but other countries as well and took it upon themselves to learn the language of the natives, embrace it not fully understand the cultures and values and through commanding the British armed forces secure the biggest empire the world has ever known, and for what? A measly few billion worth of land, property and annual income. Racist???? Next we will be accusing them of being out of touch of inbread, imagine how silly that would be
