Supreme Court gives ruling on definition of a woman – Clarity at Last?

Who needed clarity?

The Supreme Court finally ruled on what is a woman.

Why it was necessary, beggars’ belief, as the vast majority of us and any right-minded soul already knew what it was.

It was possibly only needed because liberal wishy-washy politicians and do gooders were too worried about hurting the feelings of a minority.

I and most of us already knew that your sex is determined at birth, when your biological sex is determined. You are either male or female. A man or woman, a boy or a girl.

Modern developments in medicine and surgery have given the opportunity for some who feel it is necessary to change their gender. To change what they biologically are.

Why we are spending millions on such things, I find it hard to justify when there are so many more worthwhile treatments that need finances to help save people.

What I also find quite strange is that someone – and in some country’s adolescents – can choose to change their gender, but we are still unable to choose when to end our life and with dignity.

How bizarre. But hopefully that will soon change, if the politicians follow the demands of the vast majority of the population.

So, having got the ruling, what next? Let’s hope that all sporting bodies sort themselves out and prevent transgender athletes from competing in anything other than in their own assigned gender at birth.

No doubt it will provide many issues for politicians and local government officials in how to provide the necessary facilities for transgenders in our communities. Luckily for most of us, this is not an issue.

The issue has only come about because we now have a society that is too concerned about offending someone, rather than dealing with matters as sensible human beings, either as a man or a woman.
