The 1% Club – More like the, I Don’t have a Clue Club
Saturday evening viewing on the TV is as usual, not that good at present when you consider the standard main Five Channels. I’m sure there are plenty of alternatives on the plethora of streaming channels now available, but the basic channels are pretty ropey.
I do however quite like to watch the 1% Club, if just to see how poor the UK Public’s IQ actually is.
Now I have known for a while that I sit in the top 10% but not really in the upper echelons of the top 5% for Mensa, but it is interesting to see how everyone else gets on.
To be honest not surprisingly most people are pretty mundane, and it is a well known fact that most people sit well below the top 30%.
Watching LM trying to spin out the show is commendable, and luckily most contestants take the ribbing in good heart, because they really need to, as most of them are lacking in any reason.
I suppose that if you don’t have a brain that thinks rationally, then you are likely to struggle, which most contestants seem to.
I mean, people actually got this wrong, or something similar.

Now I guess that as you all know, Mary Poppins and I are nearly perfect in every way, but I must admit I do wonder at some people, no I correct that, I do wonder at the intelligence of most people.
I also note there is a suggestion that there should be a celebrity version, but really, that would only be more of a laugh, realistically most celeb’s are pretty dense when all said and done and those that aren’t are too up their own arse to possibly even go on such a show.
Notwithstanding everything, I guess I will still be tuned in next week as there isn’t much else on and I will end up where I normally do between 20% and 5%, but c’est la vie, but I have to hold my hat up to those that do answer the 1% Question, like last night’s winner, he was pretty impressive, but then again if you can answer anything like that you are more of a smart arse than me……
