MURDER COMES TO EDENDALE?
When local businessman and entrepreneur Oliver Tate’s body is found dead on the 4th Green of Edendale Golf Club, CJ Gray, his enigmatic side kick Madame Eden Songe, and his loyal cocker spaniel Oscar, are drawn into an adventure of murder, smuggling, greed, corruption, kidnapping, lust, and romance.
Set around the stunning Golf Club in the picturesque North Yorkshire village of Edendale, the story takes you from the sunny metropolis of Dubai to the glorious Yorkshire Dales.
Prospective Golf Club chairman, Oliver Tate sources the long missing Aston Martin DB5 from the 1964 James Bond film Goldfinger, from a wealthy Emirati in Dubai, and sells it to Earl Hargrove, President of the Golf Club, who is prepared to pay over the odds, but will stop at nothing to ensure Tate doesn’t become chairman of his beloved club.
Once the deal is done, the car is shipped to the UK and is used to smuggle drugs and diamonds.
When things don’t go to plan, it starts to get very messy, and people are far from happy with Tate.
This includes his glamorous and younger trophy wife, who’s latest indiscretion proves too much for her husband, and all hell breaks loose.
