Murder comes to Edendale? – A CJ Gray Mystery Novel
You may be wondering why there has been so few blogs over the last week.
Well, I’ve been finishing writing my 1st Novel, and like when reading a book, as you near the end you can’t put it down. The same with writing.
Well, it’s no Literary Masterpiece but it’s not meant to be that.
It’s an easy read, page turning, Mystery Whodunnit.
Murder comes to Edendale? – A CJ Gray Mystery Novel
All being well it will be published in the summer, now there’s a challenge, so if you want to pre-order, hit the subscribe button and leave your email.
The hard bit now is correcting the spelling and grammar mistakes plus checking the whole plot comes together.
Hopefully it will suit the lazy readers and holiday makers out there, who it is aimed at.
If you can guess the killer then my task will be done. I hope you do it.
All the clues are there, plus lots of red herrings, so I doubt you will guess the Killer, not until the reveal.
Go on give it a try when its published, but until then see below:-
Murder comes to Edendale?
When local businessman and entrepreneur Oliver Tate’s body is found dead on the 4th Green of Edendale Golf Club,
CJ Gray his enigmatic side kick, Eden Songe and his loyal dog Oscar, are drawn into an adventure of murder, smuggling, blackmail, greed, corruption, kidnapping, lust, and romance.
There are plenty of twist and turns in this roller coaster story with more red herrings than on a Scottish sea boat.
Set around the stunning Golf Club in the picturesque North Yorkshire village of Edendale the story takes you from the sunny metropolis of Dubai to the glorious Yorkshire Dales.
The story provides an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the escapism, in a novel with something to please most tastes and just when you think you have it all worked out, the final twist will have you stunned and perhaps laughing or crying but definitely longing for the next adventure in Edendale with CJ Gray and the gang.

CJ Meads first novel is no literary master piece but it is any easy read page turner and attempts. A light hearted romantic whodunnit which attempts to please everyone and while it might float many people’s boats, it is also unlikely to be everybody’s cup of tea…..but it generally has something for everyone.
