Scotland – Easier to change Gender – Are Politicians for Real?
I am rather surprised that legislation passed in Scotland has finally prompted me to write on the subject, something I and others feel strongly about.
If you are born male or female that is what you are and you can only ever be that in my eyes.
You have the physical parts that you are biologically born with and DNA that means that is what you are.
Without Males and Females, the human race would end as would all animal life. No other animal has the right or ability to choose its gender it lives with how it was born
The ability for a surgeon to undertake an operation to change you physically does not mean that your are now different to what you were born, or should have the right to choose.
Because you want to change your gender does not mean that you should legally be allowed to do so.
I have no objection to a Man wanting to be known as a Woman or a Woman wanting to be known as a Man, but in my opinion you can’t change what you are born.
It seems strange that MP’s wish to allow what are still children to now chose their sex if they so choose, when they are not even grown up enough or mature enough to know anything really about life and their own bodies.
To lower the already legal age of a ludicrous law to 16 is totally without reasonable justification.
If any person really felt an issue with their gender then what is wrong with waiting until they were truly sure and had developed fully, surely that would not be an issue. To also disregard any medical or psychological consideration in determining any change is also extremely dubious.
I will not even start discussing the issues about the safeguarding of women from men that wish to change their sex, it should not even be on the agenda, but I am aware that feelings run very high on this subject.
The First Minister (NS) and the other SMP’s who voted for this legislation should hold their heads in shame, what planet are you are, and if you believe the Scottish people thing this law is correct then you are seriously disillusioned. If you want to prove me wrong link your feeble IndyRef2 vote to this subject, see how far things go then.
What I also find abhorrent is that SMP’s believe this type of legislation is more important and deserves rushing into law rather than considering the more worthwhile debate about allowing someone who is dying to be allowed to choose to take their life and also decide where and when to die.
But no, someone that is dying, apparently doesn’t deserve rights to choose how they conduct their life and what they want to do, but a child who believes they want to change their sex does.
Quite extraordinary.
I feel very strongly about this issue and once I have calmed down, I will at a later date write again on the subject of Gender.
Politicians, never cease to amaze me, and today Scottish MPs have proven how out of touch they truly are with the thoughts of their nation.
